Receptionist Job Duties:
- As clients, customers, and visitors arrive at the office or facility, extend a warm greeting to them.
- Respond to incoming calls and transfer them to the relevant department or individual.
- Handle mail and packages coming in and going out, sorting, labeling, and distributing as necessary.
- Carry out routine office duties such document scanning, photocopying, and faxing.
- Keep all work areas, including the common areas and reception area, tidy and orderly.
- As needed, provide support with unique projects and administrative duties, such as data entry and file maintenance.
- In a prompt and expert manner, address client and customer questions and issues.
- As appropriate, offer other team members support by helping them with work and by responding to their inquiries.
